Solomone and Ofa Ngata

The Ngata’s created the Ofa Ngata College Preparation Fund in 2015.  This fund, operated in partnership with our friends, the Salt Lake Education Foundation, is used to carry on the vision of Haloti’s late-mother, Ofa, by providing college-preparation resources to high school students in the Salt Lake City School District. The fund has provided ACT preparation classes for over 150 students in its first year and we anticipate assisting approximately 400 more during the 2016-2017 school year.  

Annual Ofa Ngata College Preparation Fund Luau

To help raise money for the Ofa Ngata College Preparation Fund, Haloti hosts an annual luau.  Please see the pictures from our 2016 and 2017 luaus below.  We hope you will join us next year in 2020 when the luau is held in Baltimore, MD!
